Developed to serve families at St. James United Methodist Church and the surrounding community, the Children’s Weekday Ministries program operates Monday through Friday. In a safe and loving environment, we provide faith-based programs that nurture the educational, developmental and social growth of each child as well as provide a unique opportunity for participants to give back to the community at large. In our renovated education wing, we offer a half-day preschool, and a summer camp program. St. James Preschool has been a staple in the Raleigh community for 50 years. It is a community-minded, half-day program that fosters within each child a desire to give back to the community. We introduce them to the gift of giving within the community through in-class activities on a weekly and monthly basis. Our staff provides opportunities and experiences that allow your child to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically.

Summer camps are held in June, July and August. We offer half-day camps for preschoolers and older children in grades K-5. Each week has specific themes with planned activities. Camp information can be found here.
